GROUND BROKEN FOR NURSE HOME Construction to Begin at Once, Say Contractors. Construction of the $300,000 to $400,000 home for nurses at St. Vincent’s Hospital will be start ted immediately, contractors announced today following formal groundbreaKing ceremonies. The ceremonies took place Thursday before Sister Mary Joseph, hospital superintendent, the Rev. Joseph Duffy, chaplain, other sisters and nurses. The new home will be built with capacity for accommodating 200 nurses. Comer stone exercises will be held about June 1.
