MOTHER GOOSE SCORES Pageant to Be Presented at Evansville Deeplte Protests. Bv Time* Special EVANSVILLE. Ind., March 13— Despite objections of Ross Brooks, principal, Howard Roosa School Parent-Teacher '-eoclation will present Mother Goose pageant tonight. Brooks objected to the pageant on the grounds that too much publicity had been given to it. > The Mother Goose controversy arose from the report of a radio debate between Dr. Winifred Sackville Stoner, former Evansville woman, and Henry Hull, actor. Mrs. Stoner, who is president ol' the National Educational Forum, declared that “If Mother Goose were alive today, would be arrested and charged with murder, immorality, cowardice, cruelty, rudeness, selfishness and even bad grammar.” Better Dollars. “You, seem to forget, my dear, that the dollar I earn is worth only 65 per cent, of the dollar your father earned.” "Well, why don’t you earn better dollars.” —Kansa City Star.
