Bv United Press CHICAGO, Feb. 17.—Universities and newspapers are much alike, President Ernest De Witt Burton, of the University of Chicago, told members of the Inland Press Association at luncheon, Tuesday. “Both distribute information,” he declared, “and therefore have much in common. Universities and newspapers are justified in their existence if they are of service to the community. They are public service institutions paying dividends in the form of knowledge they pass out. Now For a Long Sleep Bv Times Special RICHMOND, Ind., Feb. 18.—William McMurray will do his sleeping at the Indiana State Prison for a while. He was sentenced Tuesday one to fourteen years. Any breaking out of the skin, even fiery, itching eczema, can be quickly overcome by applying Mentho-Sulphur, declares a noted skin specialist. Because of its germ destroying properties this sulphur preparation instantly brings ease from skin irritation, soothes and heals the eczema right up and leaves
the skin clear and smooth. It seldom fails to relieve the torment without delay. Sufferers from skin trouble should obtain a small jar of Rowles Mentho-Sulphur from any good druggist and use it like cold cream.— Advertisement.

From the mediaeval days to the pressnt age of human progress, hot water has influenced the culture, standards, health and happiness of mankind. Even In the primitive way In which it was obtained. It was the cherished cleanser of the body. Today in millions of American homes the need for cleanliness, resulting in healthy, vtgorous bodies, has been overlooked. People have gradually become accustomed to the slow, laborious and entirely inadequate methods of heating water — processes which give but a limited supply of hot water. Thie limitation as well as the Impatience which characterizes American life today causes the people to slip easily Into habits of neglect. Modern life must be served Instantly.
