SPEED SESSION IS DISCONTINUED Motorists to Be Tried Daily, Says Wilmeth. Thursday speeder session in city court was abolished today by Judge Delbert O. Wilmeth on recommendation of Deputy Prosecutor Paul Rhoadarmer. Rhoadarmer had been asked by Wilmeth to investigate the disappearance of affidavits against speeders between Thursday sessions. Speeders will be tried the day following arrests at an hour convenient for the arresting officers, Wilmeth said. Lieut. Earl Halstead, in charge of the police motorcycle division, said the new order would handicap his work because officers would have to spend time in court every day, whereas now they chase speeders all week and spend only Thursday morning in court. Daily speed trials will begin Saturday. BACK TO CINCINNATI Body of Yeast King Will Be Returned to Ohio City. Br— JOB SMITH, 219 N. Davidson St., one of the newer men, on the police force was appointed Oct. 25, 1923. Between 7 a. m. and 3 p. m. you may meet him occupied at any one of many tasks in District 10, bounded by Harrison St., English Ave., Stat 6 St., Noble St., and Washington St. - This district has several bad railroad crossings and all railroads bring into the city floaters or loafers who have to be kept on the move out of town or placed in tail. Smith also sees that school children get safely across the tracks.

DECISION IS EXPECTED Oriental St. Action to Be Taken By Board, Probably Today. Decision on opening or closing Oriental St. when track elevation plans are carried out probably will be given today by the board of works. The question was taken under advisement Wednesday after a stormy public hearing. The Chamber of Commerce, Ford Motor Company, and other business agencies, favor closing the street. South side residents demand that it be kept open.
