TWO INJURED IN MIX-UP Wagon and Autos Tangle at South and Meridian Sts. Clarence Crosby, 338 Patterson St„ today was suffering from injuries received Thursday when he was thrown from the wagon he was driving when it was struck by an automobile driven by Jake Alter, 4106 Boulevard PI., at Meridian and South Sts. Police said Alter’s machine was struck by a Garfield Park street car and forced against the wagon. The wagon was thrown against parked machines belonging to S. V. Mattson. 1723 Arrow Ave., and A. C. Pool, 2323 Beecher St. The tongue of the wagon smashed through a window of a machine driven by B. H. Gardner, 102 Linwood Ave. Norman Wolverton, 4106 Boulevard PI., riding with Alter, was slightly injured. Alter was arrested. COLLINS KIN IN CITY Three Relatives Here Eagerly Await News of Rescue. , Three relatives of Floyd Collins, entombed in Sand Cave. Kentucky, all residents of Indianapolis, Waited with intense interest today for results of attempts to release the imprisoned man. Mrs. John Warner. 827 *Warman Ave., and Mrs. William Stevens, 547 Harris Ave., and Oda Boston, who lives with Mrs. Warner, know Collins well and are thoroughly familiar with the cave country. Mothers of the two families are cousins of Collins. Boston’s father is taking an active part in rescue work.

LETTER WRITER HELD Girl, 15, Charged With Demanding Money From Garter Manufacturer. By United Preus CHICAGO, Feb. 6.—Police ‘today held a 15-year-old girl as writer of half a dozen "death notes” to Charleß Reib, garter manufacturer. Reib had received several threatening letters, each demanding SIOO. Police captured Eleanor Kania, schoolgirl, taking a decoy package from Reib’s mail box. The girl said she “clothes and money for the movies.” Chicago Professor to Speak Dr. Charles H.
