Mystery County Clerk Solves Puzzle of Man Who Spends Every Noon Reading in' Courthouse Corridor

For nearly two years a tall, gray-haired man, wearing baggy trousers, a time-worn black coat and soft felt hat, would wander into the courthouse every noon carrying a small pamphlet and folding stool. He would saunter down the main corridor, arrange his stool against the wall near the south entrance and sit and read. “I wonder what that fellow is reading?” asked Losche one day.
