Symphony Orchestra, but on next Monday night I will not be able to say that. All I know about Verbrugghen and the Minneapolis Symphony is what I have read in the musical magazines and what I have heard on Brunswick records. Have at my home two of the Brunswick records of the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra with Verbrugghen conducting. The two records include “Waieta Poi” and “Melodrama,” from “Piccoltno"; the other, two parts devoted to “Freischutz.” an overture in two parts. There is a joyous something about “Waieta Poi” Rather reminds me of a holiday and in the hands of Verbrugghen and his orchestra it pATARRH of head or throat is usually benefited by the vapors ofWICKS ▼ Varoßub Over 17 Million Jare UteJ Yearly

becomes a beautiful musical painting. “Melodrama” lives up to its name. It is rather wistful, a sort of a sadness that does not depress. It has color and power. The score of the overture record is well known. Many of us respond, to volume while a symphony orchestra is playing and “Freischtuz” has that, quality. Running through the entire number, one feels the careful power and directing intelligence of this man. You can see and hear this man and his orchestra at the Murat next Monday night when Ona B. Talbot presents him at the head of the Minneapolis Symphony. But if you want delightful orchestral music, then get these two Brunswick numbers. American Legion Weekly Has Headquarters in New Building of Cornelius Printing Company
Plant Constructed by Local Firm Almost Entirely of Local Products. One of Indianapolis’ great assets, recently acquired, is the new plant of the Cornelius Printing Company, 2501 E. Washington St., which includes the offices of the American Legion Weekly staff. The building was started in June by the Russell N. Edwards Company, architects and engineers, and was ready for occupancy Nov. 1. The American Legion Weekly moved its staff down from New York the first of December. The building is most advantageously located with the property line of the Pennsylvania Railroad running along the back boundary and a ten-foct loading dock the length of the new building. It is a mill type building costrueted of hollow clay tile with steel windows filling al.l sides. It occupies 30,000 square feet of space and is reinforced with two longitudinal bays fifteen feet wide and thirteen transverse bays nineteen feet wide. Nine thousand square feet of the east end of the building is devoted to the Legion Weekly office which operates with a reportorial staff of four men and a mailing staff of between sixty and seventy girls and twenty rnen. John T. Winterich is editor in chief; Phillip Von Blon, managing editor; A. E. Gardiner and John Noll, associate editors. The “collared ailing” mailing system, the most up-to-date mailing system is used to keep the ever-changing addresses of the subscribers corrected. In the printing room, which occupies 20,000 square feet, is included the biggest printing press in the city, a Scott, which measures forty by fifteen feet by twelve feet high; new Hoe and Cottrell presses, five old presses, four new folding machines

Okeh records which will brighten the musical atmosphere of every home. I not only admire Griffin as an artist but his recorded voice as coming out of the phonograph has made him a sort of personal friend. I seem to know him. He has become a part of my musical nature. If I get the blues I put on a Griffin record and I forget my troubles of the hour. His new records include “The Singer Was Irish” and “When They Ask You What Your Name Is,” and “My Sweet Klllarney Rose,” and “A Window In Old Athlone.” The last two named pieces get right into your heart. It brings home right to you, although you are miles away from home. Home is mostly mental, you know, and home is what your memory makes it. He has a rich voice and Okeh records it in all of its beauty. I do not hesitate to recommend these Griffin records. -i- -I- -I- \ Indianapolis theaters iMay offer: Thomas F. and three new mailing machines, binders and cutters, trimmers and other equipment amounting to approximately $75,000. Floors under the printing room are specially reinforced to carry the weight of the presses and the ground under the entire building has been filled to an elevation of 4% feet above the street level. The fill was thoroughly puddled and rolled with fifty-ton rollers. "This is the first time,” said Russell N. Edwards, “In the history of architectural experience an Indianapolis architectural organization has been able to build such' a building for less money than a pre-fabricated building by an out-of-town concern.” Several of these “ready-made” concerns made estimates on the building, but were unable to approach Edwards’ estimates. Most of the materials used In the construction were fabricated In Or around Indianapolis by local manufacturers. E. C. Strathman Company, general

The Value of Experience Whether the owner intends to build an Industrial building, such as the Cornelius Printing Plant here shown, a commercial building, an apartment, or hotel, the design of the best type of building calls for a thorough understanding of the special requirements of the particular business to be housed. We offer through our organization the services of experts well versed In the layout, design and construction, who are thoroughly familiar with their work, reinforced with practical construction knowledge gained in the field. • Ultimate Economy Always The building here shown demonstrates the manner with which we design for economy in operation as well as economy in construction. The first time in the history of Indianapolis Architectural Practice that any Architect was able to design for less tha-i the widely advertised prefabricated steel structures dawned, when ve planned the structure for the Cornelius Printing Company, and enabled Indianapolis contractor i to beat, in stiff competition, those firms selling .the “ready-to-erect’ structures. Married Woman Eats Only Bread and Milk Everything Else Causes Gas on Stomach
“I had no faith but am glad now I tried Adlerika. I have taken only onehalf bottle and can eat anything now without causing gas. Before I could eat nothing but bread and milk, everything else soured and formed gas. Since taking Adlerika I enjoy eating.” (Signed) Mrs. J. B. Manning. Intestinal Evacuant There is now offered to the public a liquid preparation which is not only a wonderfully effective and QUICK intestinal evacuant, but which also seems to stimulate the glands of the intestinal tract, and to cause expulsion of flatus (GAS). This preparation, known as Adlerika. Is a valuable agent for the purpose or cleansing the bowels of matter which has been in the system a long time and which other less effective means have been unable to dislodge. It Is often astonishing the great amount of matter Adlerika draws from the Intestinal canal—even' right after a natural movement It sometimes brings out unsuspected quantities of additional matter. Many times it brings out much GAS, thus relieving pressure in the abodmen. Adlerika is especially valuable when PROMPT action is necessary or to encourage the elimination of metabolic poisons through the bowel.

In slight disorders such ns occasional constipation or gas on the stomach and headache (when due to bowel inaction), a single spoonful of Adlerika often produces surprising and gratifying results. In cases of obstinate constipation or stomach trouble, if Adlerika does not bring relief in 24 to 38 hours the advice of a reputable physician should be secured.
