pm ADVISORS PTLIIPROGRAM State y Committee Holds Formal Meeting, ir The safety advisory committee recently appointed by Governor Emmett F. Branch and the public service commission to cooperate with Commissioner Frank T. Singleton In promotion of safety on Indiana highways and railroads held its first formal meeting today'with Singleton. Means of promoting safoty were discussed and the complete functions of the unofficial body outlined. No legislative program is to be undertaken but the committee will provide such aid and information as desired by legislators seeking safety legislation. The committee: Walter Pritchard, Indianapolis, motor clubs; H. N. Sherwood, schools, State superintendent of public instruction: B. C. Byers, general superintendent, Big Four Railroad; P. H. Crane, secretary Indiana Farm Bureau Federation; Eli F. Seeblrt, mayor of South Bend, and John D. Williams, director, State highway commission. Young Hill, with several other boys, was coasting on a steep slope near the public square. Hill was guiding the sled and cost control, crashing into the side of a building.
