TIRE OWNERSHIP SOLVED Christian Vehliug Cleared of Blame and Charges Dismissed. Detectives today said arrest of Christian Vehling. 32, of 1242 Shepard St., on a charge of taking fifteen tires of the Chevrolet Manufacturing Company from the Speedway last May was part of a move to clear up ownership of the tires. Charges have been dismissed and Vehling cleared of all blame. Vehliner was given the tires by a representative of the company which furnished them to the Chevrolet company. He stored them. When an official of the Chevrolet company demanded the tires, Vehling refused to turn them over until he was shown the Chevrolet company had proper title to them. The tiling of the warrant followed. RIDES TO JAIL IN STYLE Motorist Drives Theft Suspect to Headquarters. Lawrence M. Jackson. IS. colored, 1428 N. Senate Ave., rode to jail, and it wasn't in the Black Maria, cither. When Everett Grossard. 5204 College Ave., went to his car Thursday night Jackson was in it. Grossard suspected him of accessory thefts and invited him for a ride.
