WILLOUGHBY WIN SURE; COMPLETE G.O.P.SUCCESS Judge Candidate Leading by 13,000 —Jackson Trails 'Cal’ by 130,000. With the election of Benjamin H. Willoughby, Republican candidate for judge of the Supreme Court. First District, practically certain, election of the entire Republican national and State tickets is assured. President Ccolldge's plurality over John W. Davis, Democratic candidate. will be about 210.000. an increase of 25.000 over the Harding plurality in the landslide of 1020. The plurality of El Jackson, Republican candidate for Governor, is 50.002, according to complete unof ficial returns. Fred Schortemeier, candidate for secretary of State, led the State ticket with a plurality of 130,000 over Arthur Hamrick, Democrat. For a time Willoughby’s election was doubtful, but Lake County came in late Wednesday with a tremendous vote for Willoughby, putting him in the lead by more than 13.000. George K. Denton. Democrat, cannot hope to overcome the lead in the 40ft precincts still out, it is said. Complete returns showed that the General Assembly will be overwhelmingly Republican. The Senate will be Republican by 32 to IS, and the House of Representatives, S4 to Ift, latest figures indicated. Counties usually regarded as rockribbed Democratic strongholds returned Republican representatives. FATHER JAILS LAZY SON Youth Who Refused to Wo-k Despite Family's Fovorty, Fined.
