WHEAT DOWN ON LIVERPOOL DROP Holders of Large Lines Liquidate at Start, Bn United Press CHICAGO, Oct. 12. —Grain futures went into a sinking spell at start of business on the Board of Trade today. Holders of large lines began liquidating after the opening game. A sharp dip in Liverpool and bearish feeling regarding the Government crop - review brought sellers out. Corn received good commission house support on a sympathetic dip. The Government crop report and weakness in wheat sent oats tumbling. Despite an advance in hogs, provisions started steady. S, Portion Will Amount to $110,000,000, By United Press NEW YORK, Oct. 10. —Offering of the American portion of the $200,000,000 International loan to Germany, which will amount to about $110,000,000, will be made early next week, according to reports In banking circles. Tentative plans call for 7 per cent interest on the loan, which will mature serially from one to twenty-five years, with the offering price about 92, and which would net the investor about 7% per cent. J. P. Morgan and Company will head the nation-wide syndicate offering the bonds. A sinking fund will be provided, it is understood, which will retire one twenty-fifth of the Issue annually at 105 so the entire issue will be redeemed by maturity. Some bond experts here seem to think the offering price on the loan will be 95 or 97, which would mean a yield of 7% and 7% per cent. Marriage Licenses Hervey Hatcher, 23, 2641 E. Bft Times Special GREENFIELD, Ind., Ot. 10 Coach Robert Hinshaw polished off the rough spots in the local high school football team offense Thursday and declared his team ready for the invasion today of the Broad Ripple team. Hinshaw expects a victory over Ripple, hut the strong showing made last week by the Rippleites against Shortridge indicates Coach Wann is developing a formidable team. Dick Miller and Tatlock of Indianapolis were to officiate today. Tryon Back at Colgate Coach Harlow at Colgate has suffered the loss of thirteen regulars from last year's team. However, his available material is such that he is positive he will put over another winner. Eddie Tryon, his star back, is still with him.
