GREATER FUTURE FORESEEN AROUND - GREAT LAKES Quarter of a Century Will See Remarkable. InI dustrial Rise, The "workshop of the world” In the next twenty-five years, will be located around the Great Lakes In Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. This prediction is contained in report of a survey engineers of prospective growth of population and industries in this territory. The survey indicates there will be a 51 per cent increase in population in Indiana or four and a half millions in a quarter of a century. Great Super-Power Stations The report indicates that central Indiana will be the site of great super power stations and that total plants will produce 2,871,000 horsepower. The survey gives the following increase in populations in the next twenty-five years: Frankfort from 12,000 to 18,000, Kokomo from 30,000 to 45.000, Marion from 24,000 to 36,000, Noblesville from 5,000 to 7,500, Rochester from 4.000 to 6,000, Wabash from 10,000 to 15.000, Huntington from 14,000 to 21,000, Clinton from 11.000 to 16,500, Jasonyille from 51,000 to 7,500, Martinsville, Sullivan and Tipton will also increase to 7,500; Attica from 4,000 to 6.000,' Terre Haute from 66,000 to 100,000, Logansport from 40.000 to 60.000 and Indianapolis from 350,000 to more than a half million.
