The Fletcher Avenue concern was established thirty-four years ago by Mr. Yoke's father. Nelson Yoke, in a small building at Shelby St. and Fletcher Ave. Associated with him were James T. Peake, John Fhl and E. L. Atkinson, who saw the possibilities of a conservative savings and loan assoc.ation which could pay dividends at 6 per cent. The business has steadily and consistently grown since the first year of its existence and today carries net assets of $5,700,000 and is patronized by persons from every section of the city and State, as well as by persons from other States.
