Feel Lame, AchyAll Worn-Out? BACK lame and achy—making you miserable? Sharp pains stab you at- every sudden move? Feel all worn out —older and slower than most folks of your age? Then look to your kidneys! They are the bloodfilters, you know, upon which your health depends. Once the kidneys weaken, body poisons accumulate and upset blood and nerves. Backache is apt to follow, with rheumatic twinges, headaches, dizziness and kidney irregularities. One is constantly tired, and feels weak, nervous and dispirited. Don t wait! Delay may lead to serious or chronic kidney sickness. Use Doan’s Pills. Doan’s are recommended by thousands. Ask your neighbor! “Use Doans/' Say These Indianapolis Folks

CHAS. H. GILLEY, Painter, 1410 W. Ray St, Says: “My back pained and I couldn’t rest well at night. Mornings my back was stiff and lame and I could hardly move about. My kidneys acted too frequently. I used Doan's Pills from Withers' Drug Store, and they rid me of the trouble."

Here Is a Real Horse in Horsey Drama; ‘White Moth’ Is a Night Life Picture

i By WALTER D. HICKMAN j VOU have wanted something I j Y i different. | l ! Here it is: The horse drama. I will, admit that I approached Pathe’s production of '“The King of Wild Horses” with a regular Missouri *feeling, “You have to show me.” Here is a picture that is. It is different. It might be called the “horsey drama” because that is just what it is. It concerns the tamirg of a wild horse by a man A wild horse is a strange animal. A temperamental creature. It is no easy task to train a horse to be wild. But this horse can act. Have seen nothing to equal it on the screen in this line of work. Nature gets into you. It becomes a part of your very life as you watch this picture. You become interested not in man and woman but a wonderful horse. An animal untamed. He fights a wild horse to remain head of a bunch of other wild horses Then man comes. There is a chase. A long one. The love of man for a wild creature triumphs. A horse loves a man. That is the story of “The King of Wild Horses,” now on view at the Apollo. The fathers of Indianapolis who have wanted real entertainment for their sons and daughters will find it in this photoplay. It will be a crime to keep any lad away from “The King of Wild Horses.” This is not juvenile entertainment. It speaks a universal language—love of animals. Make your son or daughter acquainted with this masterpiece. The bill includes Our Gang in "Commencement Day,” hokum but funny. Pathe News and music. At the Apollo all week. -I- -I- ISOMFBODY ORDERED IT MELLOW AND THIS IS RESULT ”The Breaking Point” is just that, j It nearly broke my temper. Some- ! body decided to turn out a melodrama dressed up in dress clothes. ! It had to be mellow for no reason at all and “The Breaking Point” was produced. The cast is the most promising thing about the picture. It gives you the right to hope. Cast includes Nita Naldi, Matt Moore hasn't a /;;! .chance in thi-- * f movie He plays: ffil the role of a man who nearly is \ PATSY RUTH guilty of murder. MILLER A doctor takes j him away from the scene of trouble when it is dis covered that he has lost his mem ory. Matt forgets who he is. That | makes it easy for the doctor. In time Matt has to face the law-, hut as a pleasant ending is necessary in all proper “mellow- dramas,” Matt doesn’t go to the chair. Os course j he isn’t luilty, hut the hero and the heroine must suffer. As usual have your idea regarding "The Breaking Point.” I thirik some director was wrong. Th Ohio has a corking good orchestra in Johnny Jackson s bunch. They do not play during the picture, but

appear as a special act of about twelve minutes. They know how ‘o project the spirit of jazz if there Is such a thing. They are up to date. They even use their feet in one number to get the effect. A mighty good organization. Bill includes Lester Huff at the organ playing tunes of the late Victor Herbert, and Stan Laurel comedy, “Zeb vs. Paprica. At the Ohio all week. -I- -I- -INIl'E BIG BROTHER WINS THE PRIZE AFTER ALL Suppose you were the younger brother and loved a wild woman known as “The White Moth.” Older brother has more brains than Junior —result: Older brother marries the prize. After the proper amount of melodramatic suffering, older brother discovers that he actually loves this virgin of the night life of Paris. They are all virgins in the movies, you know. “The White Moth” is a story of the night life of Paris. The cast has the services have increased the smile of mana gets through WI&mSL ~*■■■ the box office. It Is one of those BARBARA lavish but unreaLAMARR sonable affairs. It is as well acted as one expects in stories and productions of this nature. The story is

the weakness of this picture, as the acting and the scenery is better than it deserves. It is light in theme and will entertain for a time. There is a sub-feature at the Circle this week as “My Boy Bill,” a story of the sea. It brings nature (the ocean) right up to your right and left eye. It is unusual and really worth while. POLAR INSTALLS ICE SAFEGUARD To insure delivery of correct weight to ice customers of the Polar Ice and Fuel Company, every block of ice that leaves the manufacturing plants of the company is “scored” with deep markings that j divide the block into twenty-five, ; fifty and 100-pound pieces. Henry j L. Dithmer, secretary-treasurer of the company, in announcing the in- j stallation of the new machine, stated \ that the system is an important advancement in the selling of ice at retail. The Polar company produces ice j blocks that weigh an average of 315 ; pounds each. When allowance is made for melting, a full-sized block weighs not less than 300 pounds by the time delivery is made to most remote part of city. The blocks are figured at 300 pounds in the “scoring” process, and no customer receives less weight than he pays for. The machine, that “scores" the ice | blocks, is equipped with small cir- 1 eular saws that cut into the ice to i a depth of about an inch and a half, j marking the block plainly on both | sides. This channel on two sides of | the ice make it easy for the ice man j to chop off a straight sided piece : that weighs at least the required j amount, with no jagged points or j gnarled edges to make it inconvenient to set into the ice-box.
