Riverwood Becomes Attractive Summer Resort Near Indianapolis When the new dam on White River above Noblesville was built in 1922, a group of persons who loved out-of-door life conceived the idea of a high-class summer resort on the wide, long stretch of river made by the development. Thev acquired the west bank of the river from

the house, runnin upstream several miles. Three miles of grav roads 'were built. 1,500 trees and shrubs planted wells drilled, electric wire strung, and a bathhouse, boathouse, case, tennis basketball and horseshoe courts equipped. Thus a full fledged summer re sort sprang into being. Last season cottages were built at Riverwood by persons from Anderson, Elwood, Lapel. Jndi anapolis, Muneie, Nobles ville. Tipton and other towns. The fishing has t>een especiajly attractive Since the dam was built, nearly 100.000 large and small mouth bass, blue gills and croppies have been planted. The Vo: lagers have the use of ah he river frontage and
