MISSION COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT SET JUNE ITO 4 Fifteen Graduates to Receive Degrees and Foreign Assignments, . Fifteen graduates will receive diplomas and assignments to foreign countries at the commencement exercises June 4 at the Indianapolis College of Missions. The ceremonies will start June 1 at the Downey Ave. Christian Church with Dr. Joseph D. Armistead delivering the sermon. Ordination and appointment service will be at 8 p. m.. in Graham chapel. Dr. B. A. Abbott, editor of the Christian Evangelist, will deliver the ordination address. Official appointments will be given by Dr. Frederick K. Burnham and Dr. Stephen J. Corey, president and vice president of the United Christian Missionary Society of St. Louis. Commencement Day .lime 4 Commencement day is June 4. A missionary pageant is a feature. Degrees and diplomas will be conferred at 11:30 a. m. by President Charles T. Paul and Dean George IV. Brown. Graduation address will be given by Dr. J. Ross Stevenson, president of Princeton Theological Seminary. Valedictory ceremonies will be held at 3 p. m. on Graham Chapel lawn. Timken-monies will consist of the ivy processional, planting of the class tree, severing the ivy chain and the faculty farewell message delivered by Professor Andrew F. Hensey. President Writes Pageant "The Pageant of the Philippines” was written expressly for the graduation ceremonies by President Paul out of his experiences during a recent trip to the islands. CADLE OPPOSES DANCE AND JAZZ AT TABERNACLE Promises Suit if Building. Is 'Misused' in Breach of Contract, Branding the proposed fancy dancing „ and jazz music at Cadle Tabernacle as “a desecration,” E. Howard Cadle. founder and former owner of the Cadle Tabernacle, today served written notice upon the present owners of the tabernacle he would ‘‘take such steps as are necessary' to preserve the property for the uses for which it was erected." Cadle, in a letter to Daniel T. Speicher, Walter S. Hapsing and J. W. Speicher, objected formally to the proposed “Speedfest Jubilee” to be given at the tabernacle by Sahara Grotto. In the letter Cadle declares sale of the tabernacle to the new owners was upon the following conditions: ‘‘The building shall always carry thp name of Cadle Tabernacle and that the property shall always be used for religious, civic and municipal purposes for the moral, social, and spiritual upbuilding of humanity' and the advancing of God s Kingdom.” Cadle has previously stated he will file suit in the Superior Court
