ANGERED CITIZENS OUST COWMEN Two Resign as Crowd Stampedes Meeting, Bu Times Special SEYMOUR. Ind., May 9.—The town of Janesville, Jackson County, is minus two members of its town board because citizens wanted light, and wanted it right away. Resignation of the two board members was forthcoming when irate citizens rushed board members in special session and nearly overwhelmed the town marshal. In an election recently voters decided electric lights should brighten the streets of the town. But it was found the lights would cost $2,000, just $1,500 more than the town bankroll. The town board wanted to wait S. L. Ross, president of the board. *nd William Welmer tendered their resignations as the stampede started, and Fred Rittman is the only surviving member.
