Now is the time when the Mechanical Heating Corporation, 32 W. Vermont St., is furnishing home owners and prospective builders with future comfort by installing A. B. C. oil burners, the efficient, clean, care-free and quiet producers of home warmth. The A. B. C. heating system, which Is manufactured by the Automatic Burner Corporation of Chicago, has been subjected to some gTuelling tests that have proved its efficiency. On one occasion two A. B. C. burners were placed in separate boilers —one a horizontal tubular and the other an upright. The burner in the horizontal boiler was kept burning twenty-four hours a day for seven day's, and after this 168-hc,ur test, it was subjected to the closest inspection by a comrltlttee of engineers. Every part of the burner was minutely' examined and there wa3 not the slightest sign of wear on any part. The burner installed in the upright boiler was run intermittently. Every other minute—thirty times an hour—it was stopped and started. This terrific test was continued for seven days, with 5,040 stops and starts which is equal to two and one-half years average run In home use.
