SENATE HASTENS 10 END SESSION IN THIRTY MS Arrangements to Clean Up Legislative Problems Made by Leadersy Bn United Press WASHINGTON, April 30.—With the tentative adjournmer' date only a month off, the Seejte leaders today completed arrangements for cleaning up the most important of the legislative problems before that body. Here is what they plan to do: Tax Reduction Pass the bill before this time next week. Add miner amendments already adopted. Publicity for all income taxes to come up for discussion today; board of appeals tomorrow and corporation taxes, normal and surtax rates in the order named. Farm Relief Farm bloc will force up the Me-Nary-Haugen and Norris price stabilization measure next week as soon as the tax bill is finished. Bonus Conferees on the bill passed b 7 the * House and Senate expected to reach an agreement today or tomorrow and the agreement will be sanctioned by both £o uses forthwith. If the President vetoes the bill, then leaders do not figure it will require more than a clay in each House to pass it over his veto. s- - Final action may be held in abeyance £or week or more. The bill with the Japanese exclusion is in conference with some agreement now in sight. Muscle Shoals; RepubLcan leaders do not propos* to let this stand in the way of other measures. Probabilities are that final action will not be taken before summer adjournment. Veterans Bureau Recodification bill will be passed by the Senate within the week. It will be sandwiched in during idle moments on the tax bill. Appropriations These are being speeded through, and leaders now have ceased to worry about them.
