The model is about fourteen feet long and three feet wide. Every detail is included in the work. Even the trees * are included. A seven-foot model of the principal War Memorial Bldg., the cen ter piece of the plaza, is also on display. Both it and the plaza site were made in Cleveland, Ohio, by the Fischer and Jirouch Com pany, decorative sculpters. Work on the large model of the War Memorial Bldg., was started last August by F. Mattmuellor, sculp tor. It required two trucks to transport it to Indianapolis. Because of the danger of damaging the large model it took two days to make the trip. The trucks traveled twenty miles an hour. Several hundred pounds of plaster were used. Estimated cost of the work is from $12,000 to $15,000.
