KENTUCKY SOLON IS CHARGED WITH LIQUOR CONSPIRACY Indictment Includes Five Other Men, One a Former ' Dry Agent, By United .Vrtca WASHINGTON, March 28.—Repre sentative John W. Jjangiey, Republican, of Kentucky, and five other men have been indicted on charges of conspiracy in connection with alleged illegal withdrawals of liquor from the Fennwick Distilling Company of Ches wick. Pa. Langley was to appear in court today to plead and give bond for his trial. At the same time Langley’s col- | leagues in the House are considering : his status. Langley was named In the indictments, one charging conspiracy to prevent the lawful course of Government and the other to violate the prohibition act, but his five co-defend-ants were indicted only on the latter 1 charge. The other men named were: Millard , F\ West, former deputy commissioner j of internal revenue in the prohibition j unit: Russell Sackett, dry agent: Sidney Reis, alleged bootlegger, and Ben !L. Moses and Harry Sattler, Joint owners of the Union Drug Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. The charges against the six grew out of testimony given before a grand Jury in Chicago, which indicted Col.
