Library Gets ‘Footprints’ on Own ‘Sands of Time’

Moores, Max Ehrmann, William Dudley Foulke, Grace Alexander, Evaleen Stein, Paul Haworth, Irving Williams and Gertrude M. Shields. Their signatures compose an “Indiana authors’ page.” The guest book was presented to the library by one of the staff, Cerene Ohr. It has been beautifully decorated by the hand of Maurine Rayle Bowen, also on the library staff.

BIDS ON CLUB EXPECTED J. F. Wild Company Underwrites Band Issue for Circle Building. Bids for the erection of anew Columbia Club building on Monument Circle are expected to be asked within a few days. J. F. Wild & Cos., has underwritten a 6 per cent $1,000,000 bond issue to finance erection of the building. The club will move from its present site while the new structure is being erected. Mr. Howe had been connected with the State Life Insurance Company for twenty-tight years. He was born at Westfield, Ind. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Miss Miriam Howe; three brothers, Walter and Guy Howe of Indianapolis, and W. F. Howe of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Lena Sanders of Grand Junction, Colo.
