SARAH STOCKTON DIES AFTER TWO ■ YEARS AS INVALID Heart Attack Is Fatal to Woman Physician at Central Hospital, Dr. SaraJi Stockton. 82, prominent woman physician, affiliated with the Indiana Central Hospital for the Insane for twenty-five years, died at midnight Thursday. She had been ill two years. Heart disease was given as : miuediate cause of death. Dr. Stockton was born on a farm n Tippecanoe County and was .'Associated with her sister in conducting the Stockton House in Lafayette. She came to Indianapolis about thirty-five years ago. She is a graduate of the Woman's Medical College of PhfTadelphia. She served on the State board of charities under Governor Thomas R. Marshall. She was physician for a time in charge of the Indiana Woman's Prison. Before joining the Central Hospital staff, she was engaged •i private practice for many years. Two years ago. D.\ Stockton suf sered a broken right hip. While stir lame, in going about her duties at the hospital, she fell again and suffered* fracture of the left hip. She had outlived the members of her immediate family. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. The body will be taken to St. Louis, Mo., for cremation, according to present plans. HARRY EDEWOLF BURIAL SATURDAY Veteran Postal Employe Dies Suddenr,. Funeral services of Harry E. De Wolf, 54, of 1623 Central Ave., who died Thursday afternoon, will be held at the residence at 2 p. m. Saturday. The Rev. Allan B. Philputt will officiate. Burial in Crown Hill cjute tery. Mr. De Wolf had been an employe- j of the Indianapolis postoffice for twenty-three years, seventeen years as a carrier and six years as a clerk in the inquiry division. He left work Thursday noon and died shortly after reaching home. Deputy Coroner William A. Doeppers said heart disease caused death. Mr. De Wolf was a member of Logan Lodge F. and A.
