Following a curtain-raiser game in which Clayton defeated Plainfield, 2819, th© Monrovia student body staged a pageant portraying the season's progress of the team. A ladder showed the steps taken of victories to win the county tourney. Cards bearing*, • the scores of the various games told that only one game was lost during the season on regular schedule, 31 to 30, to Emminence, who was latpr beaten. The hit of the evening came when a wheelbarrow, carrying a stuffed dummy representing the ancient rival Mooresril-e, was wheeled on the floor. That fc-am was defeated twice. Coach Herbert Curtiss was honored in a sketch by the students. Monrovia lost the final game to Smithvllle in the Tri-State. 28-26.
