JEWELS, MORPHINE IN NIGHT’S LOOT Dr, A, R, Harold Loses $677 —Window ‘Jimmied,’ Clothing and jewelry, including pearls and rings valued at $677.50, were stolen from the home of Dr. A. R. Harold. 3301 Broadway. Wednesday night, according to police. A basement window had been “jimmied.” Morphine tablets valued at $8.50 were stolen from the office of Dr. A. S. Brown, 1525 W. Vermont St., police said. Clarence Palmer, colored. 27, of 1471 Massachusetts Ave., was charged with the theft of s4l from the Goldsmith drug store, Michigan St.. and Massachusetts Ave. Palmer said he found the money in a trash pile, police said. Other theft victims: C. B. Edmondson. 1143 N. Meridian St., sample case, $45: William Solisbury, 661 E. TwentySecond St., watch, $42. HASSLER ATTENDS FATHER’SFUNERAL Services for Capt, D, K, Hassler in Dayton, Ohio, obert H. Hassler. president of the Robert H. Hassler Company, 1535 Naomi St., wa's in Dayton, Ohio, today attending the funeral of his father, Capt. D. K. Hassler, who died Monday at his home in Pittsburgh, Pa. Burial was in Wooodlawn cemetery, Dayton. Captain Hassler was a former Indianapolis business men. Captain Hassler was born at Mercersburg. Pa., in 1835. He began his business career in Dayton just before the Civil War. He enlisted with the Ist Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was In business in Indianapolis from 1902 to 1907. Hospital for the Insane, who died Saturday, will be held Jan. 22, it was announced. The probe was requested by the wife of the deceased. She claims Beers was in good health when placed in the institution. ROTARIANS LAY PLANS Expect to Have Ijarge Representation at State Meet. Indianapolis Rotarians today were busy laying plans for taking the largest Indianapolis representation in history of Rotary to the annual State conference to be held Feb. 21 and 22 at French Lick and West Baden. More than 1,500 reservations have already been reported. A special train will leave Indianapolis at 8:30 a. m. on the first day ox the conference. About 125 Rotarians from Indianapolis, together with their families, are expected to attend. Speakers are to be Guy Chandler, Philadelphia. Pa., president of Rotary International: Arch C. Klumph, Cleveland. Ohio, and Past District Governor F’rank H. Hatfield Evansville, Ind. Raymond M. Havana, Kansas City, Mo., past presidents of Rotary International; Everett W.
