AGED RESIDENT DIES! COAST Mrs. George Bass, 69, Succumbs at Home of Daughter, Mrs. George F. Bass, 69, resident of Indianapolis for more than half century died in Los Angeles, Cal., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Bass Keller, relatives here learned today. Due to ill health, Mrs. Bass left the city with Mr. Bass early in Oc tober. Mrs. Bass was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, May 10, 1855. She was married to George F. Bass in Carroll County, Ind. She was deeply interested in the community affairs of the city and had been an active member of the League of Women Voters and the Needle Work Guild. She was a member of the board of directors of the Department Club, and was active in the literary, dramatic and physical research sections. For more than twenty-five years she was a membS of the Parlor Club. She was a charter member of All Souls Unitarian Church. She was also a member of the Caroline Scott Harrison chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bass is survived by two sons, Walter G. and Herbert L. Bass, both of Indianapolis; a daughter, Miss Mamie L. Bass of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Keller of Los Angeles, Cal., and the following grandchildren of Indianapolis: Lawrence W. Bass, Miss Janet Bass, Herbert L. Bass Jr., and Robert Randall Bass.
