ALCOHOL BLAMED FOR THIRD DEATH Death of Alfred R. Long, 33, Eastern Hotel, 460 E. Washington St., at the city hospital early today from what hospital attaches said was white mule poisoning was %>elng investigated by Coroner Paul Robinson. Ixang was admitted to the hospital Wednesday, when he was found suffering in his room. According to information from the hotel, Long stayed there at times for the past two years. Motor Policeman John E. Long, 322 E. Walnut St., is a b n'lipr The father, Thomas W. Long, 768 Massacnusetts Ave.; a brother, Harry Long, 615 N. Alabama St., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Sheets, Villa Ave., also survive. Long, employed by the Klee & Coleman Bottling Works, 421 S. Delaware St., had not been at work for several weeks, it was said. Long is the third Indianapolis man to die from alleged alcoholic poisoning In three days, according to records at the coroner’s office.
