Minstrels Open Tonight; Wanka Tops Palace Bill

A1 G. Field Minstrels will open a three-day engagement tonight at English’s. * Modern minstrel shows depend a great deal upon the ability of the director of the orchestra as well as the orchestra. Maurice Sharr. a violinist of ability, is director of the Field minstrel orchestra this season. Following the regulation minstrel first part, the orchestra plays a number of well-known overtures. A feature of the musical program is a violin solo by Sharr. Among the dancers with the minstrels are Doran.
