GERALDINE FARRAR DEFIESCHURCHES Diva Declares She Will Sing In Atlanta Despite Ban, By Unit'd Press ATLANTA, Ga., Nov. 30.—Geraldine Farrar rolled into Atlanta In her private car today, determined to sing tonight even if she has to sing in the street*. Auditoriums of two churches were to her because of her performance of the dressing scene in “Zaza” in her last appearance here. “I will appear in Atlanta tonight In spite of all the churches,” the diva declared as her private coach rolled into the railroad yard and parked beside a bleating engine, which didn’t serve to add to her pleasant state of mind. “TO sing in spite of all the churches.” she said. STOLEN SAFE RECOVERED Filling Station Strong Hot Found at White River Dam. A small safe, stolen from the Tiona Refining Company gasoline filling station, Blake and Michigan Sts., June 6, has been recovered by the police In White River at the Riverside dam. The safe when stolen contained $156 and had been pried from the concrete floor in which It bad been embedded. ThS slime on the safe led police to believe it had been thrown In the river shortly after the robbery. S3OO Loss Is Investigated Detectives today investigated a report made by C. W. Reed, 2512 Central Ave.. on the loss of S3OO. According to Reed he gave & man a check to hind an agreement for a of ?3,000. Then the man and check disappeared.
