LEAGUE CHAIRMAN TO GIVE RESPONSE ,Women Voters Institute at Cincinnati Next Week. Mrs. Elizabeth Claypool Earl, chairman of the committee on International Cooperation to Prevent War, Indiana League of Women Voters, will make the response for Indiana at the luncheon which will open the Institute on International Affairs in Cincinnati next Monday. The League of Women Voters of West Virginia has joined the Leagues of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, in arranging for the Institute Monday and Tuesday. Women's organizations throughout the State, including the State Federation of Clubs, the W. C, T. U., the War Mothers, the Gold Star Mothers, the Women's Auxiliaries to the American Legion and similar organizations, the Parent Teachers Association, the Local Council of Women, various business and professiona women’s clubs, and local and district Leagues of Women Voters are invited to send representatives to the institute.
MRS. LOUIS GALE TO BE BURIED SATURDAY Eixtieth Wedding Anniversary Celebrated April 23. Funeral rites for Mrs. Louis Gale, SI. who died Thursday night, will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Neiger, 821 S. New Jsr sey St., at 2 p. m. Saturday. Burial at Crown Hill cemetery. Mrs. Gale immigrated to Indiana in 1850 from Germany. Her husbanl was a miller at Cumberland for thirty years. They moved to Indianapolis two years ago to live with their daughter. The sixtieth wedding anniversary was celebrated April 23. Surviving: The husband, who is in his ninetieth year; the daughter.
