BLOOMING ' AS ‘DARK HORSE’ Democrats Favoring Hoosier, Colliers Writer Says. Senator Samuel M. Ralston of Indiana the lead.ng “dark horse” candidate for the Democratic nom nation for President, according to .an article by Edward G. Lowry in the current issue of Collier’s Weekly. “Ralston has no boosters going about shouting for him, and he will not have," Lowry says. “He is not an affirmative candidate. But he w.ll be about the most receptive of all the receptive candidates there ever were. “If the office goes out to seek the man in the person of Samuel M. Ralston, it won’t have to seek far or remain in any uncertainty as to whether the man will accept. “But while nobody much is for him now, he has one advantage over the leaders. Neither is anybody very much against him. He is the second choice at this moment of more Democrats than anybody else in the party.” LEAGUE FOR ANTI-SPOILS Political Reward System Opposed by Indiana Organization.
