PETTING PARTIES PEEVE Disgusted Farmers Aak Abandonment of “Lover’s Lane.” By United. Press DANVILLE, Ind., Nov. 6.—Disgusted by the constant sight of petting parties parked along the White Lick creek road, farmers of Hendricks county today filed a petition asking that the road be abandoned. The nuisance of the petters, most of whom are said to come from Indianapolis, is so great that the farmers are willing to do without the road if it will rid them of the parties. MEN'S UNION AT BUTLER Club for Unorganized Students Is Now Being Formed. A Men’s Union at Butler College Is being organized under the direction of the Butler Boosters' Club. The Union wiH be organized for the benefit of the unorganized men on the campus. Committees have been appointed by Ed Arens, president of the Boosters’ Club, to investigate similar organize tlons in larger universities. Matinee Talks to Butler Coeds A series of matinee talks to Butler coeds will be given by Dr. Anita Muhl, former Butler student.
