FEW MEMORIAL SITE OCCUPANTS I PICK NEW HOIS Two Churches Only Properties Not Purchased by County. General Indecision Is found among institutions on the World War Memorial site which must move when wrecking for the plaza between University Square and St. Clair Park starts. The Indiana Democratic Club is considering ten sites for its future home, but nothing definite took place at its building committee conference this week. The new Elk's Club at Meridian and St. Clair Sts., will be completed in several months. Bobbs-Merrill Company has no definite plans for anew home as yet. The First Baptist and Second Presbyterian churches, whose properties were not purchased by the county, have not yet reached a decision. Besides three large apartment buildings, a few small stores and brick residences will be razed. Local and State headquarters for various soldiers’ and war organizations in buildings on the site probably will be accommodated in the memorial building. The only other building of importance beside the Vermont St. buildings, the apartment houses and "the Legion and Memorial headquarters building is the old Propylaeum on North St., occupied by the United States Naval Reserve force. Most of the old brick residences in the tw“o blocks from Vermont to North Sts. have been vacated.
