BANDITS FLEE IN GAR-TRUCK CRASH Stolen Auto Is Recovered After Accident, An automobile belonging to Francis i Gordon, 29 Riley Ave., and stolen J Monday, was found In the 600 block on Indiana Ave. after a police emergency squad chased two colored men who were riding In It, Roland Reeder, 2401 N. Cornell Ave., told the police he was backing a truck out of a garage on to Twenty Fourth St. when a car crashed into his truck. The occupants refused to give their names. Reeder looked at the title and questioned them If their name was Gordon. “I drive for Gordon,” one said. Reeder called the police. A search located the car but not the men. Rifle Taken by Burglars R. F. McKinnley, R. R. Box 48 M. reported to the police today that his house was entered Thursday and a rifle, an auto tire and Thbe taken. The loss is $45.
