PRICES SLUGGISH IN CJTYMARKET California Tokay Grapes Make First Appearance, State Fair influences were evident n city market today. Some standowners were missing, reported attending the Fair. Prices were sluggish-. Tokay grapes from California made their appearance today for the first time, selling at 20 cents a pound. Alligator pears are from 40 to 50 cents a pound. Green Gage plums retail at 16 cents a pound or two pounds for 25 cents. Grapefruit was quoted at 15 cents each. Red and Green pimentos were 5 cents each. Button radishes sold for 10 cents a bunch. Head lettuce was priced at 20 and 30 cents a head. Leaf lettuce was 15 cents a pound. Shell out beans were 30 cents a pound. Green beans were raised from 10 cents to 15 cents. Okre was 30 cents a pound. Corn. Golden Bantam and Evergreen, is up to 30 cents a dozen. Tomatoes are 5 cents to 8 1-3 cents a pound. / Hens were tending higher. Saturday they were 35 cents. Today hens were selling from 35 cents to 40 cents. Frys have lowered to 45 and 48 cents, from 50 cents. Eggs are still 35 cents a dozen. * Garage Robbed The garage of Robertson Coal Company, 430 S.
