iTHREE ARE DEAD IN RACE RIOT Others Seriously Hurt at Johnstown, Pa. By United Frees JOHNSTOWN, Pa., Aug. 31—Three dead, three probably fatally hurt and a policeman shot through an arm is the casualty list of a negro outbreak in the Rosedale Industrial settlement. County Detective John A. James. Special Officer Joseph Abrahams of the city police force and Robert Young, negro, were killed. Captain of Police Otto Fink. Lieutenant William Benders and Patrolman Joseph Grachan were shot. Fink and Grachan arc near death. City Detective Otto Nukem was shot through the arm. Young, crazed by moonshine whisky, started the trouble by shooting Officer Grachan, who attempted to arrest him. Alcoholic Poisoning Fatal By Times Special EVANSVILLE, Ind., Aug. 31.—Alcoholic poisoning was given by the coroner as the cause of the death of Richard O’Leary, who died while riding in an automobile with friends. They were returning from a party.
