exercise in the morning, on arising is fine, bending and stretching with good deep breathing. If 1 ' you are within reach of any sort of • a club where exercise is part of the program, join at once. Activity of the skin to’produce a good cleansing perspiration is to be sought. Many people never perspire outside a few hot days in summer. Nor forget to drink in plenty of pure oxygen as you take at least three or four miles a day on Shank’s mare. The exercise may be changed or varied just as we change our daily menu. Do not, for an instant, decieve yourself that a month or two of any exercise, whatever you may plan, will be of any permanent value. Keep it up as long as you live. Industrial engineers say that the seventy-dye per cent efficient organisation is above the average. With no intention of offering alibis, it is admitted that in the disposal of nearly three billions of dollars’ worth of supplies by the War Department, some buyers were not satisfied with their purchase*. In most cases, however, dissatisfaction was dne to failure to properly Investigate. A too brief or too general description in catalogs—a clerical error in listing and a corresponding failure of the pur*> chaser to carefully investigate and check at the time of sale has sometimes caused disappointment. The War Department has tried to operate on “The Buyer Be Satisfied” principle. It has tried to bold sales at convenient points with full opportunity for inspection. When inspection has been made satisfaction has resulted. You as buyer, and the War Department as seller, will both profit if you investigate fully.
