Both men were arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and drunkenness. PRINTERS TO MEET IN SOM. 13 Typographical Union Will Be Entertained at Atlanta. ATLANTA, Ga., July 30. — tiona for the convention of the International Typographical Union to be held here the week of Aug. 13, haTe completed and the local union committee is anticipating a gathering of more than 4,000 persons, including many printers who are not delegates. Among the chief topics for discussion at the "business sessions of the convention will be the 44-hour week strike In commercial printing shops in the United States and Canada. The strike has bepn in progress for more than two years and more than $15,000,000 in strike benefits has been collected and disbursed. The strike is continuing in a few Important Jurisdictions. Newspapers Contribute The city, couiky and the three newspapers of Atlanta have contributed generously to the convention fund and an elaborate program of entertainment has been provided. Sessions will be held In the Municipal Auditorium. In a sub-hall of the building manufacturers of printing machinery and material will hold an exposition. Included in the entertainment program are automobile trips to many points of Interest, barbecues, watei> melon fiestas, dancing and theater parties. Saturday night before the convention a roof garden party will be given for the early arrirvals. Members of the local committee promise and "etaoln shrfilu” of a time for the printers on that dcccasion.
