CAESARIAN OPERATION IS PERFORMED ON DOG Sister of President’s Gives Doctor Present. By Timet Special MARION, Ind., July 13.—Another distinction has come to the blueblooded Airedale family of which President Harding's “Laddie Boy” is a member. “Lassie of Tiare,” a full sister of "Laddie Boy,” delivered a litter of fourteen pups through the first Caesarian operation ever performed on a dog. A remarkable fact Is that all lived. Before they could feed themselves Dr. C. M. Mann, owner, sat up three nights and gav ethem a baby food preparation and condensed milk through a medicine dropper at fortyfive minute intervals. Dr. Lloyd M. Friedline, Jonesboro, Ind., subjected "Lassie of Tiare” to the operation at the Tiare Kennels here.

Despite the fact that the postman called early She and I were always there before him. One letter I knew would contain A delicious bit of gossip. Fortunately the letter was addressed to me. Her eyes were glistening with expectancy. She could see the news Was beyond even my anticipation. This time at least I would have no gossiping competitor. I destroyed the sheets.
