VETERANS THANK CITV FOR HELP IN RAINBOWMEETING Elaborate Plans Made for Large Convention of ex-Soldiers, The convention committee of the Rainbow Veterans' Association Is furthering plans for the association’s fifth annual convention here July 1315, assured of the support of the Indianapolis people. Judge Delbert O. tVllmeth expressed appreciation of the association to the city for support In the coming convention, at a meeting*Thursday night. A. M. Glossbrenner, vice chairman of the citizens’ committee, presided. One of Largest Other leaders in the veterans' organization also praised the citizens or their efforts. Reports of committee chairmen indicated one of the largest conventions ever held in Indianapolis is expected. Ralph A. Lemcke, chairman of the committee on deeoratlons, said .plans are well under way for an elaborate decorative scheme. Ernest Kingston, chairman of the policing committee, and I* B. Jay, chairman of the transportation committee, also reported progress. Posters Prepared John B. Reynolds, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the publicity committee, said that he believes the entire city will cooperate in the reception and entertainment of the veterans and distinguished guests. , Leroy D. Moon, who served as a wheel driver in Battery A, 150th Field Artillery, during the war, has prepared an elaborate drawing which will be the official poster during the convention. These posters will be supplied to merchants direct from headquarters, 1101 Lemcke Building. Many requests for railroad rate reduction certificates are being received. WIFE TALKED UNTIL 3 A.M.
