A tramp giving his name as Guy Sullivan and home address as almost any place, got a job at the Wabash Canning Company. After two days’ work he decided to be moving. He also moved a suit of clothing and a pair of shoes from a room of the National hotel, police say. Mulberry trees near Bluffton are proving dangerous places for small boys to climb. O- C. Jacob Mvers, the strong man of Wawaka, who successfully pulled against a team of horses, was over come by heat while shingling a roof. Ralph Soberty, Portland, received minor injuries when a car he was driving straddled a bridge rail. He drove the car into the rail to prevent hitting another car.
