EX-POSTMASTER OF CAMDEN DIES Winfield Schenck Served Under Four Presidents. Winfield K. Schenck, 74, of Camden, Ind., died today at the Methodist Hospital after an illness of two months. Mr. Schenck was postmaster at Camden for twenty-one years, serving under Harrison, McKinley, Roose volt and Taft. He had been secretary of the Camden Masonic lodge, twentyone years. He is survived by the widow and one son. Dr. Foss Schenck, 351 N. Ritter Ave., physician for the Indianapolis division of the Pennsylvania system. Mr. Schenck was bora at Hamilton. Ohio. May 25. —Six railroads today notified the United States railroad labor hoard that they have increased pay of 27,000 maintenance of way workers from 1 to 3 cents an hour. The roads are: The Burlington, Gulf Coast, Illinois Central, Maine Central, Philadelphia & Reading and Bangor & Aroostook. COURT APPROVES SALE Downtown Building Changes Hands for 8126,000. Sale of ra! estate occupied by the Rubens Clothing Store. 39 W. Washington St., for $126,000, or $7,000 a front foot, was approved today by Judge H. O. Chamberlain of Circuit Court. The lot was bought by the Occidental Realty Company, which owns the adjacent corner. The property was ordered sold aa a result of a suit for partition of the estate left by Nicholas M. Hamson, Sr., to his wife Nancy and two sons, Nicholas. Jr., and Elston, a minor. The order provides that Mrs. Harrison shall enjoy the use of the fund until her death, when it will be divided between the sons. The Rubens lease expires Feb. 8, 1925.
