PITERS’ UNION NAMES OFFICERS Ralph Veregge of Times Leads Field of Delegates, Leading the field with 323 votes, Ralph Veregge, makeup for The Indianapolis Times, was elected a delegate from Indianapolis Typographical Union No. 1 to the sixty-eighth convention of the International Typographical Union at Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 13-18. The election was held Wednesday. Other delegates elected were Herbert W. Paine, Indianapolis News, and Eugene Chappelle, from the printing department of the William B. Burford Company. Guy S. McCoy was re-elected secretary of the local; Alden B. Hattery president, and Hubert Riley, vicepresident. Three members chosen for the election board were Joseph Gibson, Robert E. Plummer and Edward L. Reinhardt. Plan Military School By Timet Special FRANKFORT, Ind., May 24.—Major W. B. Montgomery has received official notification that the National Guard commissioned and non-commis-sioned officers training school will be held the week of June 10. REVENUE EMPLOYES CUT Appropriation For Indiana Office Reduced $25,381. The personnel of the Indiana office of Internal revenue collection will be cut fifteen to twenty employes, because of a $25,381 reduction in the appropriation for the fiscal year beginning July 1, M. Bert Thurman, collector of internal revenue, said today. The national appropriation has been cut $3,568,090, Thurman was notified. He said he would reduce the personnel rather than cut salaries. Iris Show Friday Plans are completed for the annual iris show and exhibition to open Friday afternoon at 4 p. m. In the Bankers’ Trust Company. The show will be open to the public Saturday from 8 to 9a. m. The monthly meeting of the Garden Flowers Society will be held Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Charles J.
