CIVIL WAR VET FOUND LYING AT ROADSIDE Ephrtam Hunt Had Started to Walk to Ft. Wayne. By Tlmrx Special ANDERSON. Ind.. May 18.—Lying |in the road near Moonsville, ex"hausted from walking. Ephriam Hunt, 78. Ft. Wayne, was found by Sheriff Daniels. Hunt is a Civil War veteran and had started to walk home from the G. A. R. encampment at Muncie. Daniels took him to Anderson and gave him a ticket to Ft. Wayne. SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED Witten bn re College to Give Frizes to Shortridge Honor Graduates. Wittenburg College offers SSO scholarships to pupils taking high honors in the Shortridge High School graduating class. Pupils who rank in the upper 3 per cent, based upon final averages, are eligible. Tn this year's class, the upper 3 per cent is composed of the first thirteen persons on the honor roll. Winners become members of the High School Honors Society of the college if they accept. Farm Prisoners at Large Search was made today for Howard Reed, 30. and Harry Clemmons. 27, who escaped from the Indiana State Farm.
