MANY INJURED AS JM OVERTURNS 25 Persons Reported Seriously Hurt in Chicago. Pu United Press CHICAGO, May IS. —Twcntv-flve persons were injured, five seriously, when three cars of a Rock Island suburban train, known as the "Joliet Flyer” was derailed here today. The third car from the end of the train struck a track frog and overturned, -sliding down the elevated embankment. The two cars following were derailed. The five seriously injured -were taken to Auburn Park Hospital.

MRS. MARY M. FISCHER TO BE BURIED SATURDAY Woman Active in Societies of Holy Cross Church Dies at Hospital. Funeral services of Mrs. Mary M. Fischer, 48, of 426 N. Arsenal Ave., who died Thursday at St.. Vincent’s Hospital, will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church. Burial will be In Holy Cross cemetery. Mrs. Fischer, who was born In Anderson, Ind., lived In Indianapolis eighteen years. She was a member of all the women's organizations of Holy Cross Church. Surviving are the husband, Jacob Fischer, and one daughter, Barbara. Dresses Stolen From Hotel Mrs. Ruben Bickel of Evansville, a guest at the Colonial Hotel, today reported to police a thief entered her rcom and stole three dresses, valued at 890.
DEATH FOUND ACCIDENTAL Coroner Exonerates Driver of Car Striking Peter Peruot. Death of Peter H. Pernot, 65, of 2406 Kenwood Ave., May 6 after he was run over at Kenwood Ave. and Twenty-Fourth St., by an automobile driven by George T. Meyers, 20 of 666 E. Maple Rd., was accidental, Coroner Paul F. Robinson decided today. Robinson recommended that Meyers, who was arrested after the accident, ! l?e discharged on an involuntary manslaughter charge. Despite this, 'Judge Wilmeth ordered a preliminary hearing in city court this afternoon. Pe?'not was standing on a corner when Meyer's car struck another and plunged over the curb. Confirmation at Temple Monday Confirmation cervices will be held by the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, Delaware and Tenth Sts., Monday at 9:30 a. m.
