RULING OF COURT £NBOND SIGNERS IS FACING TEST Professional Bondsman ls| Charged With Contempt of Court, What is regarded by police as a test of Judge Delbert O. Wilmeth's order that professional bondsmen must stop soliciting in the turnkey's office, was scheduled to be made today in city court. Ed Thomas. 41, colored, 628 E. Washington St., was arrested by Capt. Ed Shubert on charge of contempt of court and vagrancy. He was released under a $5,000 bond, after he had spent several hours locked up. Thomas' name appeared on the list of seventy-two not permitted to sign bonds.
