Approximately an hour behind schedule, the crusaders set foot in Decatur. 111., at 3 p. m., Thursday. Thursday night they were guests of the Decatur Association of Commerce. Mayor Charles M. Borchers gave a history of a 4,000-acre artificial lake near here. Mayor-elect Elmer Elder, city officials, and crusaders visited the lake. At Clinton, 111., the Indianapolis pilgrims were met by seventy-five Kiwanians, Thursday noon. They were entertained at luncheon by the Kiwanis Club. George Marvel, Kiwanis president, presided. H. H. Burch, secretary of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the Hoosiers. Dick Miller, president of the City Trust ‘Company of Indianapolis, responded. Mayor C. W. Carter of Clinton attended.
