[REE PLANTING 10 MARK CONVENTION Seventh District Clubs Will Meet Friday. A tree-planting ceremony, in observance of Arbor day, will mark the annual convention of the Seventh District Federation of Clubs Friday. The ceremony will take place at 4 p. m. in St. Clair Park. A tulip tree will be planted. Mrs. Grace Julian Clarke will speak. The meeting, at which eighty-three clubs will be represented, will open at 10 a. m. Friday at the Severin. Filling Station Sites Bought Sites for seven new filling stations have been purchased by the National Refining Company, according to an announcement of officials. One hundred thousand persons have learned how. by mail, during the last six months. Os this immense Europe, hundreds in China and Japan, scores even In - Egypt and South Africa, and so many in Australia that he had to open a. branch office In Sydney. Murray is only 28, yet he has built up anew industry that gives hint a very large income. And he runs his international business on the side while he goes to college. How did he do it? Here's the explanation given by Murray, who has written a series of six articles for the Indianapolis Times on the newer dancing steps. Brains in Feet "When 1 was 24 everybody said my brains were all In my feet.” be said. “Probably were, too. for I bad a SHK'-week job teaching dancing at Castle House. Then I decided to go to college and my family and friends told me I was crazy. “I had educated feet and I wanted an educated head. too. So T enrolled in the Georgia School of Technology j at Atlanta. But I had thrown up my j job and I had to pay for my educa tion as well as keep my three younger j brothers In school. “Organizing a dancing class is easy. T wanted more than that — something that would pay big. T had no money, but T bad a theory that T could put my idea over by the power of suggestion and the use of psychology. I organized a danc ing club rather than a school and made the lessons play rather than work. Started With 20 Pupils “I started with twenty pupils or members, or what I called the Club do Vingt. That gave It an air of exclusiveness—but it wasn’t very exclusive in numbers, because my Atlanta school turned out to be the biggest in the world, with 1.000 children and 800 grown-ups And I made $15,000 a year profit, and never missed classes at college, although my college work kept me busy all the time, except two afternoons a week. “Critics said I couldn’t teach chil dren In large classes, buts showed them I could. What I Have Learned in 47 Years Practice

RABBI CONDEMNS GROUP CONTROL Americanization Classes Told Parties Must Rule, Urging them to become Americans in spirit. ‘FLY’ CHALKS UP TWO MORE CLIMBS Veterans Collect $l5O From! Onlookers, Jack Williams, the human fly, has. two more buildings added to his long list of tall structures climbed, following two exhibitions Saturday.
