GRAIN OF FAITH WILL SAVE SOUL, SAYS EVANGELIST Dr, Bulgin Points Out Futility of Solving Religion—Christ Must Save, He Asserts, “There ark a lot of mysteries about religion," said Dr. E. J. Bulgin, evangelist at Cadle Tabernacle, in his sermon Tuesday night on “The Philoaophy of Faith." “But if you don't like mysteries you had better stop living. Do you know what life is? All the scientists in the world don’t know . But you are satisfied to live. • “You don't have to know a great deal to be saved, the evangelist said. “Profound thinking is a thing that only a few can accomplish. But profound living is something that you all can do.” "Salvation Method Is Universal “God’s method of salvation Is a universal route. Faith is the biggest faculty of the human soul.\ It is by faith that a man is saved." The evangelist pointed out futility of trying to reason out the Almighty. The mind that could reason but God would limit Him to the size of the reasoning mind, he said. “The Deul has a trap of some sort for every one of you people here in Indianapolis,” Bulgin continued. “Prayers of the wicked are of no avail. The only prayer uttered by a sinner that ever reaches heaven Is God be merciful to me a sinner.’ You can pray for anything after that. Faith Is Essential “Faith is essential. But faith never saved anyone. It’s Christ who saves you. A little faith and a big Savior will save you. The Master said that if you have as much faith as a grain of mustard you can be saved. Don’t look for a great big faith. Look for a great big Savior.” Special delegations from Bellville and Glens Valley attended services Tuesday night. Dr. Bulgin will talk on “What Must I Do to Be Saved?" Wednesday night The sermon is to be based on fifte- n letters received from local persons ask ing guidance.
