Bulgin Bolts By E. J. BULGIN, Evangelist at Cadle Tabernacle. No man is right with God unless he is right in belief and confession. * * You are not square with God and take the gift of salvation unless you let the world know about it. * • A preacher who can’t peal the hide off of people is no preacher at all. • • * The man who is self satisfied with the devil’s false peace is the hardest man to save. • • * No man can go to heaven by his morality. When you meet God on your judgment day, it will- not be how good you have been, but have you come by the Way of the Cross? • • You have to grow from the inside out. * f • Anybody who will paint the pump to take poison out of the water is a fool.
God wants to get into man’s blood and cure the cause for such actions.” The evangelist told of a woman who shaved a black spot off an otherwise perfectly white poodle so the dog could win a prize. “A French poodle with a single black spot can’t win the prize,” he
said. “You people, who have been doing wrong and who shave off the black spots, are lost until you change , the nature which causes the spots. “Brother, your ideals will change ! and your universities will change, but | this good old book will never change.” j Dr. Bulgin said.

The evangelist assailed those who profess they will get to Heaven by being merely moral and not a member of the church. “No preacher with any sense will abuse a moral man,” he said. “The best moral man In town is moral because of the heredity of moral standards. No man can go to Heaven by his morality. It is good to govern conduct in society here. “The ten commandments are God’s looking-glass to show you the way. They will show you a spot on your face, but It won’t wash the dirt away.” The evangelist answered the argument that religion is just a matter of personal opinion. “If I was here just preaching my I personal opinion, I should be run out! of town,” he said, “but as I am preaching God’s word I may stay here an extra week.” Dr. Bulgin will preach again tonight. Mrs. E. Howard Cadle and Joe Overmeyer will sing a duet. W. J. Sayers Appointed Announcement was made today In the office of Governor McCray of the appointment of William J.
